15 Sunnah And Manners Of Walking

    1. In Surah Bani Israil, Allah commands us not to walk arrogantly on the earth as we cannot tear it apart or reach the height of mountains.
    2. The Prophet warned against walking arrogantly as a man who did so was pulled into the earth and will continue sinking until the Day of Judgment.
    3. The Prophet would sometimes hold the hand of his companion while walking.
    4. The Prophet would lean slightly forward when walking, as if descending from a height.
    5. It is forbidden for men to wear gold chains or other metallic chains, and one should not walk with buttons open or wear chains to show off.
    6. Walk at a medium pace and do not hold the hand of any Amrad, as this is forbidden and leads to Hellfire.

    14. Look both ways before crossing the road and do not cross tracks when trains are passing or in areas where it is against the law to pass through the tracks.
    15. Walking for 45 minutes daily while doing Zikar and reciting Salat,Alan­Nabi at a fast-medium-fast pace will exercise the body and improve health.
