The greatest thing about parent love is that it is completely selfless, unlimited, and forgiving. Sons and daughters cannot in full return the affection their parents show them. We must not stop trying, even though we know we cannot repay our parents for everything they have done for us. Including our parents in our daily prayers is one way we can show them we care. We should also realise that as children, we were providing charity for our parents.
Whenever you remember to exercise sound judgement, act with good adab (etiquette), or be of service to others, our parents will be on the receiving end of the blessings for what they have instilled in us. This is the mercy of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. Inshallah, by the end of this article, you will have uncovered some beautiful duas from the Quran you can recite daily, asking for a parent’s good health, a dua for a parent’s happiness, and to live a long life.
