Quran With Tajweed 30 chapters / Quran With Tajweed 30 Juz / Quran With Tajweed 30 Paras in PDF - Rules Of Tajweed
Tajweed is the practice of reciting the Quran in the way the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) recited it, giving every letter of the Quran its rights and dues of characteristics when reciting the Quran, and observing the rules that apply to those letters in different situations. The purpose of Tajweed is to make the reciter proficient in reciting the Quran, observing the correct pronunciation of every letter with the rulings and characteristics which apply to each letter, without any exaggeration or deficiency.
Tajweed is important in the recitation of the Quran because it helps to ensure that every syllable of the Quran is recited correctly, and that the meaning of the words is preserved. Arabic letters each have a Makhraj – an exit or articulation point – in the mouth or throat from which they originate and they also each have Sifaat – attributes or characteristics – particular to them. Knowing the Makhraj and Sifaat of each letter is an important part of Tajweed. Observing the rules of Tajweed in reciting protects the reciter from making mistakes in reciting the Quran.
Learning Tajweed is necessary because the Quran is for the entire world and up to the Day of Judgment. With the spread of Islam, Arab and Non-Arab were mixed together, but they had much difference in their languages and accents. Even most of the Arabs cannot read the Holy Quran with Tajweed. At that time, it was feared that in the absence of Tajweed, if the original spoken words of the prophets are not preserved, it might lead to distortion of pronunciation in the days to come. It was therefore necessary that Tajweed rules should be scientifically outlined on a uniform basis for Arabs and Non-Arabs for preserving the same wording, sounds, accent, pronunciation, and meanings. It is necessary for both Arabs and Non-Arabs to learn Tajweed and apply the Tajweed Rules while reading the Holy Quran.
There are many rules of Tajweed, some of the most important ones include:
Makharij: Knowing the correct articulation points of each letter. This is the most important rule, as it ensures that each letter is pronounced correctly.
Sifaat: Understanding the characteristics of each letter, including its pronunciation, length, and strength.
Ghunna: Understanding the nasalization of certain letters such as Noon and Meem.
Idgham: Merging certain letters together while reading, such as Noon and Meem with Waw and Yaa.
Qalqalah: Understanding the vibration of certain letters such as Qaaf, Taa, and Baa.
Madd: Knowing the elongation of vowels and the different types of Madd such as Madd Asli, Madd Wajib, and Madd Jaiz.
Waqf: Understanding the correct stopping points while reading the Quran.
Noon and Meem Mushaddadah: Knowing the correct pronunciation of these letters when they have a shaddah.
Meem Saakinah: Knowing the correct pronunciation of Meem when it has a sukoon.
These are just a few of the rules of Tajweed, and there are many more that are important to know when reciting the Quran. It is important to learn and apply these rules in order to recite the Quran correctly and accurately.
Tajweed is the set of rules that govern the proper pronunciation and recitation of the Quran. Its significance lies in the fact that it allows the reader to recite the Quran in the way it was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and it enhances the beauty and melodiousness of the Quranic recitation.
The proper recitation of the Quran is considered an act of worship in Islam, and the way in which it is recited is of utmost importance. Tajweed helps to ensure that the reader recites the Quran correctly, avoiding mistakes in pronunciation and intonation, and conveying the correct meaning of the verses.
In addition to its importance in recitation, Tajweed is also considered to be a means of spiritual and emotional connection with the Quran. Many Muslims find solace in reciting the Quran with proper tajweed and believe that it enhances their understanding and appreciation of the message of the Quran.
Overall, Tajweed is an essential aspect of the recitation and study of the Quran, and it plays an important role in the spiritual and emotional life of Muslims.
